Hey there! Don’t miss your chance to enter the South West Coast Path Photographer of the Year contest before the deadline hits!
Dorset: The South West Coast Path Association is back with its Photographer of the Year contest. It’s a great way to show off the beauty of England’s longest National Trail.
Last year, James Loveridge took home the award with a breathtaking shot of The Cobb during a storm. It really captured the effects of climate change on our coastlines.
Anyone can enter, and it’s free! This is your chance to celebrate the stunning views and experiences along the South West Coast Path.
There are five categories to choose from, including Nature and Climate Change, plus a special Young Photographer award for those under 18.
But hurry! The deadline is January 31, so get those entries in soon.
The winner will not only earn the title but will also have their work featured in an exhibition at Paddington Station in London, thanks to a partnership with Great Western Railway.
Plus, they’ll enjoy a two-night stay at the Pier House in Charlestown and two train tickets from GWR. Sounds like a sweet deal, right?
This spring, the exhibition will showcase over 20 amazing images and tie in with the release of The Salt Path film. It’s a fantastic opportunity to highlight the breathtaking coastal landscapes.
Aletha Mays from the Association shared how excited they are to bring this exhibition to London again. It’s all about inspiring people to explore the coast!
