MALMESBURY: Also on January 8, Jack Coleman, 22, was sentenced for drug driving. He was caught driving in Brokenborough with a high level of Benzoylecgonine in his blood. He got a 12-month driving ban, a £400 fine, and had to pay £85 in costs along with a £160 surcharge.
CHERHILL: On the same day, Amanda Hickling, 61, was sentenced for driving while disqualified. She drove without insurance in Chippenham while banned. The judge sentenced her to four weeks in jail and a 15-month driving ban.
MALMESBURY: On January 9, Shane Caygill, 26, was sentenced for controlling behavior towards his partner. He was found guilty of checking her phone and isolating her from friends. He received a community order until January 2027, 200 hours of unpaid work, and six months of alcohol treatment.
TROWBRIDGE: On January 9, James Knowles, 44, was sentenced for using threatening words. He admitted to making homophobic remarks in Melksham last August and was fined £60.

DEVIZES: Finally, on January 13, John Prynne, 35, was sentenced for assaulting a woman in Melksham. He was jailed for eight weeks due to the serious injury caused and his disregard for others. He also had to pay £85 in costs.
