Exciting news for young musicians! Newbury’s Good Vibes Music Academy is hosting monthly open mic nights for teens to showcase their talent
Newbury: Have you heard about this cool new thing? Good Vibes Music Academy is kicking off monthly ‘Your Space’ Open Mic Nights for teens aged 15-18. It’s a fantastic chance for young musicians to strut their stuff in a chill setting.
These events are happening at 6pm on the second Sunday of every month at the GVMA studio. It’s all about giving young performers a taste of live music and a chance to meet others who share their passion.
Steve Christmas, the director, says, “Your Space is just that – a place for young musicians to be themselves and show off their creativity.” He’s really keen on helping these kids build confidence and work together.
Each open mic night is set up with professional sound gear, so it feels like a real gig. Whether you’re a solo act or part of a band, it’s a great way to try out new things and grow as a performer.
Mark your calendars for the next Open Mic Night on February 9 at 6pm! It’s a perfect opportunity to dive into the music scene.
