Motherwell: First Bus has announced that ongoing roadworks on West Hamilton Street in Motherwell and Glasgow Road in Wishaw are causing some disruptions. If you’re using the 240, 241, 242, 254, 266, N240, or X11 services, you might want to plan your trips a bit differently.

The roadworks kicked off on January 17 and are set to last about 16 weeks. So, it’s a good idea to allow some extra time for your journeys since buses could get stuck in traffic.

Linda Shields, the Operations Director at First Bus Scotland, mentioned that they’re doing their best to keep things running smoothly. She said they’ve given advance notice to help customers plan ahead. You can check their website or social media for the latest updates.

For more travel info, you can visit First Bus Glasgow’s website or give their customer service a call at 0345 646 0707. Stay safe out there!
