A man has been sent from Northern Ireland to the Republic for a deadly crash that happened nearly eight years ago, facing serious charges.
Co Donegal: So, here’s the scoop. A guy just got extradited from Northern Ireland to the Republic of Ireland because of a tragic crash that happened back in April 2017. It was a serious deal, and two people lost their lives.
This 31-year-old is in big trouble. He’s facing charges for dangerous driving that led to those deaths. But that’s not all. He’s also wanted for having drugs with the intent to sell, which is linked to an incident in Donegal from July 2020.
He was picked up in Northern Ireland on September 15, 2022, and just recently, he was sent over to the Republic. It’s a pretty big move, considering how long this has been hanging over his head.
Oh, and there’s another extradition story too! A 41-year-old man was sent from Northern Ireland to Lithuania to serve a prison sentence for fraud. He was arrested in Armagh last November, and now he’s off to face the music.
