Stockton: Late on Friday night, police and paramedics rushed to Norton Road after reports of a stabbing. They arrived around 11:30 PM.

When they got there, they found a 39-year-old man with injuries to his stomach, hands, and leg. He was quickly taken to North Tees General Hospital.

There was a lot of commotion at the scene, with a big cordon set up. It looked pretty serious, with blood visible on the pavement and a garden wall nearby.

Forensic officers in white suits were busy taking photos and marking evidence. Meanwhile, police were going door-to-door, asking neighbors if they saw anything.

The man’s injuries are serious, but the exact details haven’t been confirmed yet. Cleveland Police said they received the call about the stabbing just after 11:30 PM.

They’re urging anyone with information, or who might have CCTV or dash cam footage, to reach out to them. It’s important to help get to the bottom of this.

North East Ambulance Service also mentioned they got a call just before midnight to attend the incident. They sent a paramedic crew to treat the injured man before taking him to the hospital.
