Wrexham: So, there was this incident at a KFC where a guy named Brian Price kissed a woman named Katie Pattison without her consent. It happened on April 23, 2024, while she was just trying to order some food.

He started off making her uncomfortable with some comments, then he put his hand on her shoulder and leaned in to kiss her on the head. That’s when she decided to ditch the counter and use a self-service machine instead.

Katie later shared how this experience changed her. She said she can’t just walk into shops anymore without feeling anxious. It’s really sad that one person’s actions can mess with someone’s sense of safety like that.

In court, Price said he was really sorry for what he did. He had been out celebrating a football win the night before and had a bit too much to drink. He admitted that alcohol is a problem for him.

The judge gave him a 16-month community order, which includes some rehab and an alcohol treatment program. Plus, he has to pay Katie £400 for what she went through. It’s a tough situation all around, but hopefully, this helps Katie feel a bit safer moving forward.
