Robson Green’s visit to a Northumberland retreat has sparked a surge in bookings, transforming the local getaway into a must-visit destination.

Annabel and Dave Stanners run the place. They had this brilliant idea to diversify their farm back in 2020. They wanted to create something unique, and after some searching, they found a train from West Coast Railway to make it happen.
They did a lot of the work themselves, which is pretty impressive. Annabel even took some training to learn how to promote the retreat. And guess what? They set up a Facebook page to get the word out.
When Robson Green featured the retreat on his show, everything changed. Annabel said that night, she was flooded with bookings. It was wild! They’ve seen a huge increase in visitors, and people are coming from all over the country.
Now, they’re on track for a sellout year in 2025 with nearly 200 nights already booked. It’s amazing how a little exposure can make such a big difference!
