Aylesbury: Metro Bank has extended its Saturday hours. Starting February 1, the branch in Market Square opens at 9:30 AM instead of 11 AM.
This change affects 32 branches across the country. It responds to customer demand for earlier banking hours.
Now, Metro Bank offers the longest Saturday hours of any high street bank. The Aylesbury branch will be open from 9:30 AM to 4 PM on Saturdays.
Weekday hours remain the same, from 9:30 AM to 5 PM, Monday to Friday. The decision came after reviewing customer usage patterns.
Metro Bank focuses on relationship banking and serves small and corporate customers. Each store has a dedicated local business manager.
Shaan Bangar, the Aylesbury store manager, said customers wanted more Saturday morning hours. The bank listened and made the change for their convenience.
Customers can still bank outside these hours using the Metro Bank app, online banking, or by phone.
Metro Bank has 75 stores in England and Wales. They plan to open new locations in Chester and Gateshead by June 2025.
