A 32-year-old woman tragically died after tripping near the sea in Lowestoft. She became trapped between rocks and later drowned on Sunday.
Saffron tripped and fell onto the beach rocks. Reports say she drowned. She was trapped in the boulders along the sea wall. Saffron was a young mom from Kent.
People left flowers and notes near the place. The messages praised “beautiful Saff” and said she will be forever missed. One note said her light shined bright and she’ll shine bright “up there.” She was forever 32.
Another tribute came from her child and said, “My beautiful mummy, I love you.” A final floral tribute said many will miss her. Emergency services went to The Esplanade area.
They arrived around 8 pm on Sunday evening after someone reported a person fell into the sea. Police said they were called around 8:03 pm about an incident on the coast off The Esplanade.
Police confirmed a woman in her 30s died there. They are treating the death as unexplained right now, but don’t think anything suspicious occurred. Saffron fell and got trapped at Lowestoft’s seawall.
