Glasgow: I recently caught the show Here You Come Again at The King’s Theatre, and wow, what a ride! It’s all about a guy named Kevin, who’s a huge Dolly fan. He’s in his forties, living in his parents’ attic, and dealing with the pandemic blues after a breakup. Sounds relatable, right?

Then, out of nowhere, Dolly Parton herself pops up to give him some life advice through her music. The actor playing Kevin, Steven Webb, is hilarious! He really knows how to pull you in with his dramatic and funny moments. And Tricia Paoluccio, who plays Dolly, nails it. She brings so much grace to the role, and her voice? Just stunning!

The chemistry between them is electric, and the audience was totally into it. They even broke the fourth wall a couple of times, which had everyone laughing. The show features some of Dolly’s biggest hits like Jolene and Islands in the Stream, making it impossible not to sing along.

What I loved most is how the show balances the ups and downs of life. It’s a reminder that sometimes, laughter is the best medicine. Whether you’re a Dolly fan or not, this show is a guaranteed mood booster. If you’re in Glasgow, don’t miss it! It’s running until January 25.

So, I’d give it a solid four stars! If you’re looking for a fun night out, this is it. You won’t regret it!
