A Berkshire woman, known as Miss H, has struck it rich, winning £10,000 a month for a year in the National Lottery’s Set For Life draw

Miss H is one of over nine million players who win something every week on the National Lottery. Andy Carter, a senior winners’ advisor, was super excited for her. He said it’s incredible news, especially right before Christmas.

Set For Life is a fun game where you pick five numbers from 1 to 47 and one ‘Life Ball’ from 1 to 10. The top prize is a massive £10,000 a month for 30 years, but the second prize is still pretty sweet at £10,000 a month for a year.
It only costs £1.50 to play, and draws happen every Monday and Thursday. Plus, every week, players help raise around £30 million for projects funded by the National Lottery.
With over 700,000 grants given out, this money supports arts, sports, community groups, and even helps preserve landmarks across the UK.
