Norfolk: It seems like quite a few folks have found themselves banned from libraries and recycling centers in Norfolk. Over the last three years, nearly 150 people have been kicked out for some pretty wild behavior.

Some of these bans were for serious stuff, like threats against staff and even throwing a pot of urine at workers. Can you believe that? It’s shocking! Most of the bans were due to anti-social behavior, especially in libraries.

In fact, the Millennium Library in Norwich had the most bans, with 30 people getting the boot for various reasons. It’s a shame because libraries are supposed to be safe spaces for everyone.

At the recycling centers, bans were mostly for threats and violent behavior. It’s hard to imagine people acting out like that when they’re just trying to recycle their stuff.

Norfolk County Council mentioned that incidents like these are rare, and they’re committed to keeping things safe for everyone. They’ve got clear rules in place, and if someone crosses the line, they won’t hesitate to take action.

With millions of visits to libraries and recycling centers each year, it’s a small number of people causing trouble. But still, it’s a reminder that we all need to be respectful and considerate in public spaces.
