Netflix is set to launch a new talent show with Liam Payne, featuring Nicole Scherzinger as a mentor and guest judges Kelly Rowland and others.
Nicole Scherzinger will be the mentor and judge. Liam Payne and Kelly Rowland will join as guest judges. Scherzinger was a judge on The X Factor when Payne auditioned back in 2010. She played a big role in forming One Direction.
Building The Band was one of Liam’s last projects. He also recorded a song called ‘Do No Wrong’ with Sam Pounds. The release was delayed to allow Payne’s family to mourn.
Liam’s funeral took place in Amersham and was attended by many celebrities, including Cheryl and his One Direction bandmates. The investigation into his death at the Casa Sur Hotel in Argentina is ongoing.
Five people have been charged in connection with his death, including his friend Roger Nores. Two others were charged for supplying cocaine. A hearing was held to determine the circumstances of Payne’s death.
Nores has filed a legal complaint against Payne’s father, claiming false declarations to Argentine officials. He insists he had no legal duty of care towards Liam.
