Exciting news for Warrington shoppers as a new M&S Outlet store is on the way, promising to complement existing locations without causing disruption
Warrington: Earlier this month, M&S announced plans for a new Outlet store in town. This is interesting since they already have a big store at Gemini Retail Park and a food hall in Stockton Heath.
The closest M&S Outlet stores are in Salford Quays, Manchester City Centre, and Ellesmere Port. So, this new store will be a nice addition for local shoppers.
It’s going to be located at unit four in Riverside Retail Park, right off Bridge Foot near the town center. Many folks were curious about how this would affect the existing M&S stores in Warrington.
But the retailer has reassured everyone that the new outlet won’t impact the current stores. They mentioned that it will actually complement what’s already there.
A spokesperson said they expect the store to be ready this summer, with an opening date to be shared soon. They’ve also submitted plans to the local council for new signage.
They’re looking to put up two illuminated signs and some vinyls to make the store easily recognizable. The goal is to keep everything looking fresh and in line with M&S’s branding.
They want to ensure the new store has a high-quality entrance, which includes replacing an old door with a new automatic glass one. Sounds like they’re putting a lot of thought into this!
