Warrington: Chris Forster is diving into the family business by taking over the Saracens Head pub. After years in events, he felt it was time to follow his family’s footsteps.

His grandad Colin owned several pubs in the area, so Chris has always been around this scene. He was just waiting for the right place to make his mark.

When he found the Saracens Head off Wilderspool Causeway, he knew it was the one. Chris wants to bring back that cozy, family-friendly vibe to the pub.

“I want it to be a real community spot,” he shared. The pub had been closed for a while, and he’s eager to welcome back old customers while attracting new ones.

Chris sees this as a fun challenge. He wants everyone, from kids to grandparents, to feel at home there.

He’s also keen on making it a go-to place for sports fans, inspired by his sons’ love for the game. Coach trips to Warrington Wolves away games are in the works!

“I hope to see a lot of Wolves fans coming in,” he said. His goal is to bring back the locals while inviting fresh faces to join the fun.

To keep things lively, the pub will host weekly quiz nights, monthly northern soul nights, and tribute acts. Sounds like a blast!
