A new pizza takeaway, Paesinos, has opened in Reading, offering delicious Italian pizzas and a cozy spot for locals to enjoy their meals
Reading: Paesinos Italian Pizzeria just opened its doors at Abbey Corner, where the old PIP Consultation Centre used to be. It’s right at the busy junction of Kings Road and Duke Street.
This takeaway spot has a small area for those who want to eat in. They serve a variety of pizzas, including vegetarian options and halal-certified chicken, wurstel sausage, and turkey.
The menu welcomes you with, “Welcome to Paesinos, where authentic Italian craftsmanship meets global pizza flavors.” Sounds tempting, right?
They use a special Moretti Forni Neapolis oven, which is a traditional wood-fired oven that cooks pizzas in under a minute. Talk about fast food!
Inayath Mohammed, the company director, shared his excitement: “We love seeing people come in and try our pizzas for the first time. It’s a real Italian experience with trained chefs.”
He also mentioned their high-speed oven that ensures quick service. Plus, they offer unique Sicilian drinks alongside classic pizzas like Margherita and Bianca.
And if you’re in the mood for appetizers, they’ve got garlic bread, bruschetta, and even folded pizza, known as pizza a portafoglio. There’s a lot to explore!
Paesinos is open daily from 12 PM to 11 PM. It’s the third business to open in the newly converted Abbey Corner, which now has four commercial units.
The other spots include a convenience store run by Gulinder Singh Chopra and a Nepalese eatery called Just Momo. So, there’s plenty to check out in the area!
