Hey folks, it’s time to recognize our local heroes! Nominations for the Argyll and Bute Volunteer Awards 2025 are officially open.
Helensburgh: It’s that time again! The Argyll and Bute Volunteer Awards 2025 are here, and they want your help to shine a light on those amazing volunteers in our community. If you know someone who goes above and beyond, now’s your chance to nominate them.
These awards, organized by the Argyll and Bute Third Sector Interface, have 13 categories and 17 awards. You can nominate for titles like Volunteer of the Year, Regional Heroes, and even a Lifetime Achievement Award. It’s all about celebrating those who give their time and effort without expecting anything in return.
The big event will happen during Volunteers Week in early June, specifically at the Rosslea Hall Hotel in Helensburgh on June 26. It’s going to be a fantastic evening filled with gratitude and recognition.
Judges will look at how long someone has volunteered, their commitment, and the positive impact they’ve made on their organization and the community. So, if you know someone who fits the bill, don’t hesitate!
Make sure to get your nominations in by April 18. And if you want to honor volunteers we’ve lost, you can send their names and photos to laurenmartin@argylltsi.org.uk.
