Oxford: Three men are on trial at Oxford Crown Court for the stabbing of Kane Khan, a man in his 40s. This incident happened in an alleyway near the mosque on March 13 last year.

Khan was attacked outside the Oxford Central Mosque and ran back there for help after being stabbed. It’s a pretty intense situation, and the details are coming out in court.

Hassan Hussain, 25, is facing serious charges, including attempted murder and possession of an imitation firearm. Two other guys, Shahroz Khan and Bilal Khan, are also in the hot seat for conspiracy to murder.

The prosecution is saying that phone records and CCTV footage tie the Khan cousins to the attack. They even tracked their phones traveling to Birmingham and back just before the incident.

The prosecutor explained that on the day of the stabbing, one of the Khans was seen waiting inside the mosque for Mr. Khan to show up. It’s all sounding pretty coordinated.

After the stabbing, CCTV footage shows one of the Khans going back to Hussain’s place. The jury is hearing that the phones were close to the mosque, but not right there when it happened.

The trial is expected to last about three weeks, and it’s definitely one to keep an eye on.
