Ayr: The Pavilion Festival is making a splash again this year! It’s happening on May 3-4, and it’s all thanks to Ewan McVicar and the STREETrave crew. They’re gearing up for an epic weekend by the beach.

This festival is a big deal, attracting music lovers from all over. They’re expecting thousands to join in on the fun. And guess what? They’ve invested a ton in making it even better this time around.

One of the coolest new features is a massive Big Top tent called the ‘Electric Brae’ that can hold 5,000 people. It’s going to have amazing lighting and sound, plus some secret bars scattered around for a little adventure.

Saturday is going to be a blast with a killer lineup. Ewan McVicar is set to perform a back-to-back set with his pals, which is a first for Ayr. He’ll be joined by big names like Ben Hemsley, DJ Seinfeld, and Annie Mac.

And let’s not forget about Sally C, who’s sure to keep the energy up. There will also be some rising stars and local talent to keep everyone dancing all day long.

The Sub Club stage is back too, featuring techno legend Robert Hood and some of the best selectors around. It’s going to be a hot spot for sure!

Plus, the Ten Tent is returning, showcasing local artists and Dublin’s DART. It’s all about giving new talent a chance to shine.

Ewan McVicar shared that the festival is all about bringing something fresh to Ayr, highlighting DJs and artists who usually don’t make it to the west coast.

He emphasized the festival’s independent spirit, supporting local talent and celebrating the community. It’s a real grassroots effort!

On Sunday, the STREETrave team will take over with the legendary Happy Mondays and a stunning symphonic orchestra. It’s a tribute to co-founder Ricky Magowan’s legacy.

Tickets are flying off the shelves for what’s shaping up to be the biggest year yet. They start at £45 plus a booking fee, so grab yours while you can!

Presale kicks off at 10 am on January 27, with general tickets available from January 28 on Skiddle. Don’t miss out!
