Drivers in Perth should prepare for delays due to essential bridge repairs on the A93
Perth: Drivers in Perth are getting a heads-up about some upcoming roadwork. For two weeks, the A93 Isla Road will be a bit of a hassle as they fix up the Quarrymill Bridge.
Starting January 27, expect one-lane traffic and some temporary lights between Perth and Old Scone. These lights will be manually operated during peak hours, so plan your trips accordingly.
The council mentioned that these repairs are crucial due to vehicle impacts. They’re hoping to wrap things up in about two weeks, but that all depends on the weather.
If you’re out on waste collection days, just put your bins out like usual. They’ll keep access open for pedestrians and emergency vehicles, but there might be some delays.
Oh, and just a heads-up, the Friarton Bridge will also be closed overnight for a week for inspections. So, keep an eye out for those changes while you’re on the road!
