A new 25-room home featuring a cinema and pool has received the green light from the council, promising exciting changes for the area.
Three Rivers: The council just gave the thumbs up for a new house in Nancy Downs, Oxhey Hall. They’re set to tear down the old two-storey building.
This new place will be a big upgrade. Instead of the current 15 rooms, the new design includes 25 rooms, with seven of them being bedrooms spread over three floors and a basement.
And get this, there’s going to be a pool, a games room, and even a cinema room! Sounds like a dream home, right?
As usual, they have to start building within three years of getting the go-ahead. This isn’t the first time a plan like this has been approved, though. They had a similar one last year, but it didn’t go anywhere before the permission ran out.
The applicant is serious this time, saying they plan to kick off the work within three years. The latest proposal came up in November, just as the old permission was about to expire.
By the way, if you’re curious about property prices, the last five homes sold in Nancy Downs went for between £1.1 million and £2.8 million. Quite the range!
