Cheltenham: So, there’s been quite a bit happening in Gloucestershire lately. A 20-year-old guy named Riyley Hughes got sentenced for dealing drugs to vulnerable folks in Cheltenham. He was caught after police got tips from users about his shady dealings. Turns out, he was sending out a ton of texts offering drugs, even to his probation officer.

He was nabbed last July while riding in a car, and they found a burner phone and some cash on him. He tried to run but was caught the next day. In total, he sent over a thousand texts to people looking for drugs. The judge sent him to a young offenders’ institute for nearly three years and made him pay some fines too.

In another incident, police are looking for witnesses after two teens assaulted another teen in Gloucester. The victim was just walking along when he got punched in the face, needing stitches afterward. The attackers rode off on bikes, and police are hoping someone saw something.

Lastly, a tragic accident happened in Lydney where a motorcyclist collided with a stationary lorry. Sadly, the 44-year-old man died at the scene. Police are asking anyone with information or dashcam footage to come forward. It’s been a tough week for the community, and the police are working hard to keep everyone safe.
