Among the stopped cars was a black Audi. This vehicle was seized. Three drivers didn’t have insurance, so their cars were also taken. Eight others were stopped and searched for various offenses.
St Albans Police shared on Facebook about their night shift. They focused on hotspot areas where crime often happens. They wanted to catch criminals in the act.
They reported that three drivers were caught without insurance. Their vehicles were seized. Eight individuals were also stopped and dealt with for relevant offenses.
Police noted, “Over 40 vehicles were stopped entering St Albans to prevent crime.” They also recovered a stolen pedal cycle after two males were stopped on HARPENDEN ROAD.
One of the males ran off, but the bike was returned to its rightful owner. The police are eager to see what their next shift will bring.
