Penelope Primrose is closing one shop but expanding the original location to enhance customer experience and focus on online sales.
Builth Wells: Penelope Primrose is making some changes. The shop is expanding but closing one of its two locations. They decided not to renew the lease for the second shop.
Owners Laura Zissis and Dan Bevis shared the news earlier this month. Their family-run gift shop offers clothing, jewelry, and homeware. The second shop, next to the original, will close soon.
They posted on Facebook, saying, “We are closing our second shop as our lease has ended.” They are excited about the expansion of the original shop.
“We’re building an extension to make it bigger and better. This will help us run the shop more easily,” they added.
Having two shops was great, but it also meant more work. With online sales booming since Covid, they want to focus more on that side of the business.
The second shop is already taken, and a new business will move in soon. “We’ve kept all our best-selling brands, so there will still be plenty of choices,” they said.
They thanked their customers for their support and expressed excitement for the upcoming year. You can find Penelope Primrose at 31 High Street, Builth, or check out their website at penelopeprimrose.co.uk.
