Check out how Redbridge’s secondary schools stack up based on recent data
Redbridge: Schools in the area have been ranked based on how well students are doing. They looked at things like how many kids stay in school or get jobs after finishing their studies.
They didn’t include special schools in this ranking, just the regular ones.
The top school in Redbridge is Seven Kings School, which scored really high on the Progress 8 indicator. This means students there are doing great compared to others in England.
Progress 8 measures how much students improve from the end of primary school to the end of secondary school. It’s a good way to see how schools are helping their students grow.
Out of 20 secondary schools in Redbridge, 16 did better than the national average. Ten of those were even “well above average.”
At Seven Kings, 83% of students got good grades in English and Maths, and nearly all of them either continued their education or found jobs after leaving school.
Loxford School came in second place, with a solid score and a good percentage of students achieving top grades.
Ilford County High School was also impressive, with almost all students either staying in school or getting jobs after graduation.
On the flip side, Caterham High School was at the bottom of the list. They had a below-average score and a lower percentage of students achieving good grades.
So, it’s clear that while some schools are really excelling, others have some work to do to help their students succeed.
