Dudley Council is hosting community meetings in February for local residents to share their thoughts and ideas.
These forums are informal. They give residents a chance to share what they love about their area and what needs improvement. Local councillors and a police representative will be there to chat with everyone.
If you want to attend, you can register online, but it’s not required. The first meeting is in Brierley Hill on February 3 at Arise Church. It’s for folks from Brierley Hill, Brockmoor, Pensnett, Wall Heath, Kingswinford, and Wordsley.
On the same day, there’s another meeting in Halesowen. It’s at Fatherless Barn Evangelical Church for residents of Belle Vale, Hayley Green, Halesowen, Cradley, and Wollescote.
Then, on February 6, people from Amblecote, Lye, Stourbridge North, Norton, Pedmore, Stourbridge East, Wollaston, and Stourbridge Town can meet at The Stourbridge Institute Social Club.
The Dudley Central meeting is on February 19 at Living Hope Church. It’s for residents of Castle and Priory, St James’s, St Thomas’s, Netherton, Holly Hall, Quarry Bank, and Dudley Wood.
Also on February 19, the Dudley North meeting will take place at Sedgley Community Centre. This is for anyone living in Coseley, Sedgley, Gornal, Upper Gornal, and Woodsetton.
Councillor James Clinton encourages everyone to attend. He believes it’s important for councillors to connect with residents and understand their concerns and ideas. He hopes to see many people at the meetings.
