Gwent: Rhiannon Morgan passed away on December 31, 2024, after fighting Ewing Sarcoma cancer. She battled the illness for 13 months.

The funeral service celebrated her life. Rhiannon’s best friend, Natalie, shared a touching tribute. She said, “This is not a goodbye but until we meet again.”

Natalie also recalled a fun memory of them at an Ed Sheeran concert. Rhiannon was all smiles that day.

Music was a big part of Rhiannon’s life. At the service, they played her favorite songs, including Ed Sheeran’s ‘Visiting Hours’ and Westlife’s ‘I’ll See You Again.’

Rhiannon loved sports too. She was a huge fan of Welsh rugby and Manchester United. Guests wore red to honor her favorite teams.

The Reverend described Rhiannon as a “warrior princess” who fought her cancer bravely. He noted her passion for rugby and her loud cheers.

In December 2024, doctors told Rhiannon her cancer was terminal. She sadly passed away on New Year’s Eve.

Her family is raising funds for Morgan’s Army, a charity that supports families in South Wales facing childhood cancer.

Rhiannon’s mother, Sarah, chose this charity to help others facing similar challenges. Caring for others was important to Rhiannon.

After school, she worked various jobs, but her role as a carer was her favorite. Her mother said, “Everyone who knew Rhiannon knows how much she helped everyone.”
