Keith Smith from Salisbury is celebrating after winning the top prize in the Stars Appeal Christmas Raffle, planning a family holiday with his winnings
With his winnings, he’s planning a family getaway to Devon. Sounds like a perfect way to celebrate!
Keith was pretty surprised when he found out. He said, “It’s fantastic to have won the raffle. It was a nice surprise; I had forgotten about the tickets.”
He’s really happy to support the Stars Appeal, a local charity that does great work for the hospital.
The raffle raised over £20,000, which will help fund new equipment and projects at Salisbury Hospital. That’s a big win for everyone!
Wilsons Solicitors sponsored the first prize, while FJ Chalke took care of the second prize. There were also other cash prizes up for grabs.
Helena Sinclair from the Stars Appeal expressed her gratitude, saying, “Congratulations to Keith and all of our Christmas Raffle winners, and a big thank you to everyone who took part and made donations.”
Mike Parker from Wilsons Solicitors added that it’s been a pleasure to support the raffle and that the funds will make a real difference for patients and staff.
