Bromley schoolchildren are excited after an MP’s visit and invitation to Parliament
Bromley: Schoolchildren got a special invite to the Houses of Parliament. This came after a visit from MP Liam Conlon.
Mr. Conlon met with staff and students at St Mark’s Church of England Primary School. He toured the school with Headteacher Chris Hollands.
As the MP for Beckenham and Penge, he discussed new electric 358 buses. He also talked about future plans for Crystal Palace Park.
Before leaving, Mr. Conlon invited the pupils to visit Parliament. The trip will give them a closer look at British democracy.
Headteacher Hollands expressed joy in showing Mr. Conlon the school’s learning environment. The students were excited to learn about being an MP and the upcoming trip.
He thanked Mr. Conlon for visiting despite his busy schedule. The students can’t wait for their adventure at the Houses of Parliament!
