Writers Val McDermid and Damian Barr will be named Centenary Champions this year. They will help promote the library’s mission and engage with the community.
National librarian Amina Shah shared the library’s founding vision. She emphasized that the library was created for everyone in Scotland to access and enjoy. The library aims to make its collections available through reading rooms and exhibitions.
