Kaz Knight’s sentencing has been postponed as he awaits a new court date after pleading guilty to drug-related charges
Swindon: Kaz Knight, a local guy from Darnley Close, found himself in a bit of trouble. He pleaded guilty to having cocaine and heroin with the intent to sell them. This all went down at the Swindon Magistrates’ Court on November 11, 2024.
During the hearing, he admitted that the £3,555 cash found by the police was his. However, he denied owning some gold jewelry, alcohol, and designer items that were also seized.
His case has now been moved to Swindon Crown Court for sentencing, which was originally set for December 13, 2024, but it’s still pending.
Next up, Knight will be back in court on February 13. He’s been held without bail because of the serious nature of his charges and concerns he might reoffend.
Interestingly, this isn’t his first run-in with the law. Back in September 2024, he got an 18-week suspended sentence for causing actual bodily harm to a woman. The court heard she had some nasty cuts and swelling from the incident, but Knight’s lawyer said he was really sorry and even sent her a card to apologize.
So, it looks like Knight has a lot on his plate as he waits for his next court date.
