Severn Trent is inviting Worcestershire schools to join free workshops on water efficiency and environmental awareness for students
Worcestershire: Severn Trent is rolling out some cool free info sessions for schools. Their education team is all about getting kids involved with fun workshops and assemblies.
These sessions are a great way for kids to learn about saving water and being efficient at home. It’s all about making a difference, right?
During the assemblies, they’ll talk about why it’s super important to take care of our water. Plus, they’ll dive into bigger issues like climate change and how students can help out.
Last year, a whopping 163,237 kids from the Severn Trent area joined in, with 8,373 from Worcestershire alone. That’s a lot of young minds getting educated!
Maxine Smith, the senior education officer, shared that these workshops really get kids excited about learning what happens at Severn Trent. It’s not just about water; it’s about understanding the environment too.
She encourages schools and parents to reach out if they want to book a session or learn more. Many schools are already signed up for the New Year, but there’s still room for more!
