The Shropshire Chamber of Commerce is gearing up for its 25th anniversary awards, promising an unforgettable celebration for local businesses
Shrewsbury: The Shropshire Chamber of Commerce is kicking off its annual business awards, and this year is extra special since it marks the 25th anniversary. They’re planning to make it a memorable event.
At the launch event held at Hatfields Land Rover, over 150 local business folks gathered to celebrate. It’s open to all businesses in Shropshire and Telford and Wrekin, even if they’re not chamber members.
Familiar categories like Company of the Year and Best New Business are back, but they’re also adding some fresh ones. There’s a new Inspirational Adult Learner award and a Champion of Champions trophy for past winners.
Ruth Ross, the chief executive, shared how important this event is. She said it’s a chance to recognize the fantastic businesses in the area, and this year’s celebration will be even more special.
She emphasized that the Chamber’s goal is to support businesses in overcoming challenges and celebrating their achievements. They’re determined to make this awards night unforgettable.
Mark your calendars! The application deadline is April 4, and the finalists will be announced at the business expo on April 10. Judging happens in May, and the winners will be revealed at the black-tie event on June 20.
