Southend Airport is launching new flights, including daily routes to Newquay, as it partners with Eastern Airways and easyJet expands its offerings
Southend: So, guess what? Southend Airport is really stepping up its game! They’re opening a new base with easyJet and teaming up with Eastern Airways.
Starting in April, you can fly daily to Newquay in Cornwall, and tickets are going for just £59.99 one-way. How cool is that?
This is the first domestic flight since the pandemic hit, and it’s a big deal. They now have 20 routes across Europe and North Africa. Talk about growth!
And it’s not just Newquay. Balkan Holidays is bringing back flights to Bulgaria, and Santa’s Lapland is offering festive trips to Finland. Sounds like a blast!
Last year, Santa’s Lapland had its first flights from Southend, complete with mince pies and a visit from Enzo the Elf. How festive!
Plus, easyJet is rolling out 14 routes this year, covering places like Spain, Portugal, and Morocco. So many options!
