Spalding: The folks behind the Spalding Flower Parade are on the lookout for volunteers to help out this year. They’re hosting a drop-in session at the United Reformed Church on January 24, from 2 PM to 7 PM.

This year’s parade is themed around musicals and is set for May 10, kicking off from Springfields Events and Conference Centre. It’s going to be a blast!

The parade committee wants to meet anyone interested in volunteering. They’re inviting families, friends, or anyone who wants to join in for a chat and a cuppa. It’s all about having a good time and sharing some laughs.

They’re looking for all sorts of help, like arena stewards, car parking attendants, charity collectors, and float builders. There’s a role for everyone!

After a ten-year break, the parade made a comeback in 2023, thanks to Stephen Timewell, and it drew in thousands of spectators. This year, there will also be entertainment at Springfields on May 9 and 10. It’s shaping up to be a fantastic event!
