Eastleigh: Stoke Park Junior School recently had an Ofsted inspection, the first since May 2019. The school has around 349 kids aged 7 to 11, and the feedback was really positive.
Inspectors noted how well the school focuses on helping students learn and manage their behavior. They mentioned that pupils are really engaged in their studies.
According to the report, the staff stick to routines and values that help create a supportive environment. They also work closely with parents and outside agencies to help students who need extra support.
One of the highlights was how the school has managed to cut down on suspensions due to behavior issues. That’s a big win!
The report also described the school as a “happy place” and praised the teachers for their strong knowledge of the subjects they teach. They really know how to break things down for the kids.
