Laura Liptrot is set to dazzle audiences in Kidderminster with her poetry and stories this February
Kidderminster: Laura Liptrot is gearing up for a special performance at Jelleyman’s Mill on Saturday, February 22. It’s going to be a great night!
This talented writer and poet, who studied at Kidderminster College, will share readings from her poetry collections and her debut novel, Dreamcatchers. Plus, she’ll give us a sneak peek of her upcoming book, The Green Boy, which is dropping in May.
Laura shared that she started writing poetry at just 10 years old but took a long break. A friend’s comment to a radio DJ about her being a prolific poet reignited her passion, and she’s been on a roll ever since.
She loves to write with an optimistic vibe. While some of her work tackles serious issues, she aims to sprinkle a bit of magic and color into people’s lives.
Her poetry has been called funny, engaging, and clever, which is pretty impressive! Besides writing, Laura is also an actor and artist, and she’s now diving into singing and songwriting.
If you’re interested, signed copies of her books and art will be available for purchase at the event. The show kicks off at 7 PM, and tickets are just £10. Sounds like a fun evening!
