Taco Bell’s Folkestone location has closed its doors after only two years, leaving fans disappointed and the space vacant once again
The closure happened earlier this week, and it’s a real letdown for fans of the chain. Taco Bell has a few other locations in Kent, but this one was right in the town center, making it super convenient. The franchise hasn’t shared why they decided to close, but they did confirm the news to KentOnline.
If you’re craving some tacos, you can still find other Taco Bell locations nearby. Just hop on their website to see where the nearest one is. The spot across from McDonald’s is now empty again since Argos moved to a Sainsbury’s at Park Farm.
Interestingly, Taco Bell opened another restaurant in Folkestone just a few months ago at the Stop24 services near Hythe. They’ve been expanding in Kent, with other branches in places like Dover and Canterbury. Founded in California back in 1962, Taco Bell has been serving up tasty Mexican-inspired food for years, and it first landed in the UK in 2010. It’s a shame to see this location go, but hopefully, the others will keep the taco love alive!
