A 19-year-old has been sentenced for promoting suicide among vulnerable girls online
Horsham: A 19-year-old named Cameron Finnigan has been sentenced to six years in prison. He was part of a neo-Nazi satanist group and encouraged girls to harm themselves.
Finnigan was found guilty of several charges, including telling one girl to kill herself on video. He wanted to share it with his extremist group called 764.
In court, it was revealed that he had a flag related to satanism in his room. He had been involved with the group since late 2023.
The group is linked to a more extensive network known for promoting violence. They even had a chat about a “Terror Week” where members were encouraged to commit crimes.
Finnigan communicated with other members through apps like Telegram and Snapchat. He had some pretty alarming usernames and even talked about wanting to kill a homeless person.
While police found knives in his home, they didn’t find any guns, despite his claims. They did discover a lot of disturbing material, including indecent images of children.
He was arrested last March after making threats and was found with a document that gave advice on carrying out terrorist attacks.
It’s a chilling case that highlights the dangers of online extremism and the impact it can have on vulnerable individuals.
