Wimborne: The Oddfellows Arms is a cozy little pub right in the heart of Wimborne Minster. It’s a favorite hangout for locals who love its charm.

Landlord Callum Brooks is proud to say there’s more to this place than just being the “smallest pub in Dorset.” It’s all about the community vibe here.

Callum insists, “It’s the smallest pub, but you won’t find another one like it.” And he’s not wrong! The pub has a unique ‘mini aquarium’ that lights up daily at 3 PM.

One of the fish is even named Baby Jesus because it was born on Christmas Day. How cute is that? They don’t serve food, but they focus on offering the best drinks around.

Callum says, “We stick to our core drinks; we serve the best beer.” Plus, they host live music events every week, bringing in all kinds of genres for everyone to enjoy.

He’s all about giving local artists a chance to perform, saying, “We try to cater for absolutely everyone.” It’s a fun atmosphere!

Every week, they have a ‘chase the joker’ raffle game. Customers buy tickets throughout the week, and on Fridays, someone gets to pick a card.

If you pull the joker, you could win a whopping £2,000! If not, the prize rolls over to the next week. Recently, AFC Bournemouth legend Steve Fletcher helped with the draw, but no one snagged the jackpot.

Callum describes the Oddfellows Arms as “the hub of the local community.” He believes it’s “the smallest pub with the biggest heart.”

Regulars have been coming here for years, and now they’re starting to attract younger folks too. Callum wants to create a safe space for 18-year-olds to learn about drinking and pub etiquette.

Looking ahead, he’s even thinking about opening a mobile bar for weddings and events. Sounds like a great plan!
