A TikTok influencer has been jailed for four years after a shocking four-year abuse campaign against their girlfriend, leaving her traumatized.
Hollie, who has over 25,000 followers on TikTok, was caught on camera strangling Lauren for two minutes. She controlled every aspect of Lauren’s life, from her phone use to her social interactions.
In one brutal incident, Hollie attacked Lauren with a vodka bottle and even set her on fire with a cigarette. The court heard that Hollie was possessive and obsessed, making Lauren’s life a nightmare.
Lauren bravely recorded the attack and shared it with the police, which helped bring Hollie to justice. In her victim impact statement, Lauren expressed the deep scars left by the abuse, saying she feels broken and vulnerable.
The judge emphasized the severity of Hollie’s controlling behavior, which included blocking Lauren’s contact with her own child. Along with her prison sentence, Hollie received a restraining order to keep her away from Lauren.
