Wrexham: The monthly street market is back in Queen’s Square. Local businesses showcase their products and connect with the community.

As more shops go online, the market needs community support. It’s a great way to bring people together.

Fern Evans runs Buttercup Vintage Caravan. She wants to create a fun, free event for everyone. It’s all about enjoying time without spending too much.

Fern says the market is vital for local traders. They usually have 40-50 stalls each month with a variety of goods.

It’s a community-focused market. They keep pitch fees low, making it affordable for everyone. There’s often live music and games for kids, too.

Fern shared that the last two years have been great. They’ve received amazing support from traders and visitors. Exciting events are planned, including a big St David’s Day celebration on March 1.

Rachel Allen from Rebel Dragon Designs loves the market. She says it’s a fantastic way for local businesses to promote themselves.

Bringing people into town helps all local shops. The market offers unique items you won’t find in stores, adding variety to Wrexham.

Last month, Fern and her team received a ‘Highly Commended’ award from Wrexham MP Andrew Ranger for their hard work.

Mr. Ranger was thrilled to nominate them, highlighting their dedication to the community.
