Exciting news! The venues for the Twelfth of July 2025 celebrations have been announced, with events planned in various locations.
Belfast: Get ready for a big celebration! About 20 spots in Northern Ireland will host the annual Twelfth of July events, drawing in huge crowds.
Other UK cities like Southport and Liverpool are joining in on the fun, marking the anniversary of the Battle of the Boyne.
DUP MP Carla Lockhart shared the exciting news on social media, saying, “Saturday 12th July, what can I say … you have to plan ahead.”
Expect lively Orange Order parades in Belfast and Ballymena, with more festivities in Coleraine and Lisburn.
Keady, Glengormley, Kesh, and Rasharkin are also on the list, along with Dundonald, Dundrum, and Dromara.
Maghera, Kilkeel, Coagh, Cullybackey, and Carnlough will welcome lodges and flute bands, with Sixmilecross and Augher joining the lineup.
There’s even an Independent Orange Order parade planned in Portglenone!
Last year, there were talks about shortening the Belfast parade and possibly canceling the gathering at Barnett Demesne, but those plans were scrapped after pushback from members.
Last summer, tens of thousands joined the ‘Orangefest’ at Belfast City Hall, enjoying food stalls and live cooking demos.
The festival, which started in 2017, aims to celebrate the diverse cultures of Northern Ireland.

In 2022, 73,000 people tuned in, but that number dropped to 50,000 last year.
