Arriva has launched two new bus routes connecting Ellesmere Port and Deeside, enhancing local transport options for residents.
The new 101/101A bus service connects Stanney Grange, Ellesmere Port, Deeside Industrial Park, and Queensferry.
The 101A service runs eight times a day. It links Ellesmere Port and Deeside Industrial Park, with early morning and evening trips. Two journeys also go to Queensferry crossroads.
All 101/101A services serve Stanney Grange Estate, providing an hourly daytime service.
Sam Rowlands, the Member of the Welsh Parliament for North Wales, welcomed these new bus routes.
He said, “I am delighted to see this cross-border service. It will greatly help those traveling to work or school on both sides of the border.”
He added, “These new services are especially welcome after Flintshire County Council withdrew the previous service affecting the link between Ellesmere Port, Deeside Industrial Park, and Queensferry.”
“I am pleased to see this vital service continuing,” he concluded.
You can find the timetable for the 101/101A service on the Arriva website.
