TyreSafe and West Yorkshire Vision Zero join forces to enhance road safety and aim for zero fatalities by 2040
Leeds: TyreSafe is teaming up with West Yorkshire Vision Zero to make our roads safer. They’re both on a mission to cut down road dangers and protect everyone who uses the roads.
TyreSafe is focused on tackling the issues caused by bad or illegal tyres. Meanwhile, West Yorkshire Vision Zero has a bold goal: they want to eliminate all serious injuries and deaths on the roads by 2040.
This initiative is led by the West Yorkshire Vision Zero Board, with Alison Lowe OBE at the helm. She’s the deputy mayor for policing and crime, so you know they mean business.
Stuart Lovatt, who chairs TyreSafe, emphasized that they both believe no one should die or get seriously hurt on the roads. He pointed out that poorly maintained tyres are a big risk, and by joining forces, they can really make a difference.
