Estabulo Darlington’s future is unclear as signs are removed and renovations are underway, leaving customers anxious about reopening.
Darlington: So, Estabulo Rodizio Bar and Grill has taken down its main signs at the DL1 complex. It’s looking pretty bare out there now.
New photos show the restaurant’s exterior without any Estabulo branding, except for a little design around the doors. It’s a big change!
Inside, it’s even more drastic. The place, which opened back in 2018, has been stripped down to just the bar and some furniture. It’s like a ghost town in there.
This all comes after Estabulo announced a temporary closure for renovations. They said they’d be back soon, but no one knows when that will be.
Just a few weeks ago, they were excited to welcome customers back. Now, folks are left wondering if their reservations will even happen.
Adding to the confusion, Estabulo’s York location closed suddenly last October. Staff were told at the end of their shifts that they were done for good.
Darlington’s DL1 complex has seen a lot of closures lately. Other spots like Mango Bean and Prezzo have shut down too. It’s not looking great.
Even Tomahawk Steakhouse decided to pull out, saying there just wasn’t enough foot traffic. It’s a tough time for restaurants in the area.
Estabulo hasn’t commented yet, and neither have the DL1 owners. Everyone’s just waiting to see what happens next.
