Residents at Wilton Place care home had a blast with animal visits, enjoying cuddles and fun interactions with various furry and scaly friends
Wilton: Residents at Wilton Place care home had a wonderful time recently. They got to cuddle with some adorable rabbits brought in by their owners, Corinne and Simon. How cute is that?
But that’s not all! They also had a visit from Zoo Lab, where they met all sorts of fascinating creatures like snakes, hissing cockroaches, and even millipedes. Talk about an adventure!
Antoinette Roberts, the general manager, shared how much the residents loved these unique visitors. She mentioned that it’s not always easy for everyone to go out, so having these animals come to them was a real treat.
They’re always on the lookout for new activities, and it’s clear that animals bring a lot of joy and comfort to the residents. It’s heartwarming to see how much happiness these visits can create.
Wilton Place is part of Barchester Healthcare, one of the largest care providers in the UK. They focus on giving personalized care to their residents, whether it’s for a short stay or long-term support.
The home accommodates 66 residents, providing both residential and dementia care. It’s great to see such a caring environment where everyone can feel at home.
