A young influencer was discovered dead in Mexico, bound and showing signs of torture, linked to cartel violence
Culiacán: A tragic story has emerged about a young YouTuber named El Pinky. He was found dead, hands and feet bound, after enduring a horrific ordeal.
Reports suggest that a hitman from the notorious Sinaloa cartel is behind this brutal act. El Pinky, whose real name was Agustin Paul, was just 22 years old.
Before his death, disturbing footage surfaced online showing him being interrogated by cartel members. They accused him of working with a rival gang, which is just chilling.
Just hours before he was killed, leaflets with his name were dropped from a plane in Culiacán, claiming he was involved in money laundering for the rival gang.
El Pinky was found with a gunshot wound to the head on January 10. His YouTube channel, Los Plebes de Barrancos, had gained a significant following, which might have attracted unwanted attention.
This isn’t the first time a YouTuber has faced such violence. Last year, another influencer, Miguel ‘El Jasper’ Vivanco, was also murdered under similar circumstances.
Authorities are now looking into the motives behind El Pinky’s death, considering his online content as a possible trigger for the cartel’s wrath.
It’s a grim reminder of the ongoing violence in Mexico, where rival cartels are constantly battling for control. The situation is dire, and it seems like the violence is only escalating.
